Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

Zagmo Inc. ("Zagmo," "we," "us," or "our") operates Memyard (app.memyard.com), a professional social network that connects your Google Drive activity with the people you work with. Memyard surfaces document edits, comments, shares, and collaborator activity to help you stay informed and build stronger working relationships.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Memyard, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Memyard, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy is effective as of March 2026.

2. Information We Collect

Google Account Information

When you connect your Google account via OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This information is used to create and identify your Memyard account.

Google Drive Activity Metadata

With your permission, Memyard reads activity metadata from your Google Drive. This includes document titles, file types, edit timestamps, collaborator names and email addresses, and comment activity. We do not read, store, or transmit the contents of your documents — only the metadata that describes when activity occurred and who was involved.

Usage Analytics

We collect information about how you interact with Memyard — pages visited, features used, clicks, and session duration. This helps us understand what is working and where we can improve the product.

Device and Browser Information

We automatically collect technical information including your browser type and version, operating system, IP address, referring URLs, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP. This information is used for security, error monitoring, and service improvement.

Content You Create

When you write and publish Memos on Memyard, we store the content of those Memos on our servers. You control who can see your Memos.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Memyard service — tracking Drive activity, notifying you about document changes, and surfacing collaborator updates.
  • Generate AI-powered summaries of document activity and daily briefings that summarize what happened across your Drive while you were away.
  • Personalize your experience — ranking and filtering what you see based on the people and documents most relevant to you.
  • Send transactional email notifications and daily digest emails about activity in your Drive.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product, fix bugs, and prioritize new features.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your Google Drive data to train AI models or for any purpose unrelated to providing the Memyard service directly to you.

4. Google API Limited Use Compliance

Memyard's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request the Google Drive scopes necessary to provide the Memyard service. We do not request broader permissions than we need.
  • We do not sell Google user data to third parties.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising or to build advertising profiles.
  • We do not use or transfer Google user data for credit assessment, lending, or insurance purposes.
  • We do not allow humans to read user data except when we have your affirmative agreement, doing so is necessary for security purposes, or we are required to do so by law.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with the service providers necessary to operate Memyard:

  • Supabase — Database and authentication hosting. Your account data and Drive activity metadata are stored in Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL databases.
  • Vercel — Application hosting and CDN for the Memyard web application.
  • Anthropic / OpenAI — AI providers used to generate document summaries and briefings. We send document metadata (not document contents) to these providers.
  • Amplitude — Product analytics to help us understand how users interact with Memyard.
  • Sentry — Error monitoring and performance tracking to help us diagnose and fix issues.
  • SendGrid — Transactional and digest email delivery.
  • Stripe — Payment processing for paid subscriptions. We do not store your payment card information.

Each of these providers is bound by data processing agreements and their own privacy policies. We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zagmo, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through Settings, we will delete your personal data and Drive activity data from our active databases. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days following deletion before it is permanently purged.

We may retain certain records for longer periods when required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:

  • Essential cookies — Required to keep you signed in and maintain your session. These cannot be disabled without logging you out.
  • Google Tag Manager — Used to manage and deploy analytics and marketing tracking scripts.
  • Amplitude — Product analytics cookies that track feature usage and navigation patterns.
  • Vercel Analytics — Web performance and traffic analytics.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies may affect product analytics but will not impact your core Memyard experience.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data. You can also do this directly in Settings.
  • Data portability — Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of analytics — You can opt out of product analytics by contacting us.
  • Withdraw consent — You can disconnect your Google account from Memyard at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at abe@memyard.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Memyard is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with their personal information, please contact us at abe@memyard.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by sending an email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material updates (such as clarifications or corrections) may be made without advance notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last revised.

Your continued use of Memyard after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
